Ibiza is the largest island of the Balearic archipelago and on the 17 autonomous communities of Spain. Located in the Mediterranean Sea, this archipelago has 5 main islands divided into 2 groups: the Gymnesian Islands comprising Mallorca, Menorca and Cabrera and the Pityusic Islands composed of Formentera and Ibiza. Ibiza presents numerous advantages, both natural and cultural; that UNESCO decided to hihglight classifying them World Heritage Sites. What to visit in Ibiza
#1 Dalt Vila
Dalt Vila is the old town of Ibiza and the capital of the Island. Real labyrinth, its narrow streets, its old typical buildings and its small squares will make you travel through time for a total change of scenery!
#2 Sant Josep de sa Talaia
This is a small village located in the southern part of the island. With the villages ofSan Jordi de ses Salines, San Augustin d’es Vedra and Es Cubells, it is the largest of the five municipalities of Ibiza Island.
#3 Torre des Savinar
La Torre des Savinar is a defense tower located in Punta de sa Pedrera, south west of the island. Builts on the coastline, 200 meters above sea level, it offers an incredible view on the Mediterranean Sea. It is also possible to admire the small island Es Vedra.
#4 The uninhabited island of Es Vedra
Located a few kilometres from the coastline, you can reach the island by boat. Real nature reserve, it is home to many animals and plant species. A must!
